A new wave of green energy awareness has emerged from Mumbai

India is undergoing a significant energy transition, rapidly progressing towards a clean and self-reliant future. Aiming to transform this vision into a mass movement, Avaada Group has launched the “Avaada Bharat Uday Yatra,” a unique campaign to spread awareness about renewable energy across the country. Starting in Noida, the journey has now reached Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, where people have embraced it with enthusiasm and support.

Street plays, interactive programs, and activities like the “Digital Green Pledge” organized in busy areas like Vashi and Andheri conveyed the message of clean energy to the public in a simple and effective manner. The campaign aims not only to highlight the benefits of solar and wind energy, but also to inspire citizens to adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

According to Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada Group, adopting green energy is the need of the hour for energy security and self-reliance. With a renewable energy portfolio of over 17.7 GW and active participation in sectors such as green hydrogen, energy storage, and solar manufacturing, Avaada is not only generating energy but also laying a strong foundation for India’s green future. After spreading new light of awareness in Mumbai, the journey now moves to Pune.
