When the resolve to protect the environment and empower the needy in society turns into action, a new story of change is written. Social entrepreneur Neetu Joshi has set a new example with this commitment. She was honored with the National Green Pride Award for her outstanding contributions to environmental protection, tree planting, and rural development.
The Kalpataru Foundation presented the award at a national ceremony held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Led by Vishnu Lamba, Jaipur Collector Sandesh Nayak presented the award to Neetu Joshi in the presence of Padma Shri Jagdish Parekh and Padma Shri Sundaram Verma.
Through the MIAM Charitable Trust, established in 2022, Neetu Joshi works for environmental protection, education, women’s empowerment, animal welfare, and rural development. The Trust’s planting of nearly five lakh saplings in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra is a notable initiative. It also aims to provide self-employment opportunities to tribal women by training them in various skills.
After spending more than two decades in the entertainment industry, this honor is a new inspiration for Neetu Joshi, who has dedicated herself to social service. She believes that family values, support, and the trust of society are the true strengths of service.
