Education in Ireland organised its annual Education Fair at The St. Regis in Mumbai to promote the possibilities of higher education in Ireland to Indian students. Consul General of Ireland Patrick Duffy inaugurated the fair, where 17 leading Irish universities and higher education institutions interacted directly with students and parents.
The fair provided information on undergraduate and postgraduate courses, scholarships, research, and student life in areas such as technology, health, sustainability, business and finance, and the arts and humanities. Officials from the Irish Visa Office also provided students with important information regarding the visa process, required documents, and financial planning.
“India and Ireland have a strong foundation of education and institutional collaboration. We look forward to welcoming talented Indian students to Ireland and providing them with a holistic global learning experience,” said Elizabeth McHenry, Regional Manager, Education in Ireland.
The Ireland-India Higher Education Forum, in collaboration with CII, also marked the occasion, discussing international education partnerships between institutions from both countries. Consul General Patrick Duffy said, “India and Ireland have strong ties in education, research, and talent mobility. Forums like these open the door to new institutional partnerships and new opportunities for students.” Following Mumbai, the education fair will also be held in Chennai and Bengaluru.
