Japanese brand Nitori opens its second store in India in Mumbai

Japanese furniture and home furnishing brand Nitori has opened its second store in India at Sky City Mall in Borivali, Mumbai. The opening, which took place before Diwali, brings the Nitori Group’s global store network to 1,093. This expansion reflects the brand’s growing ambitions in the Indian market, following its planned entry into India in December 2024.

Located on the mall’s lower ground floor, the store will offer customers a wide selection of furniture and home decor products, with the company’s focus on design, utility, and affordable prices.

“India is an important market for Nitori and offers immense potential to bring our vision of furniture and home furnishings to a wider audience,” said Toshiyuki Shirai, COO, Representative Director and President of Nitori.

He said the company is keen to provide products that make everyday life more comfortable and enjoyable.
