Mahanand Dairy launches a new technology war

Maharashtra’s Mahanand Dairy is now embarking on a new modernization journey. Atul Moreshwar Save, Minister of Dairy Development and Non-Conventional Energy, Government of Maharashtra, inaugurated the “Mahanand Signature Milk Parlor” and a new cap applicator for one-liter tetra-brik aseptic UHT milk packs at the Goregaon-based dairy. This initiative marks a significant step toward modernizing packaging technology and enhancing consumer convenience.

Minister Save said that farmers should increasingly adopt ancillary businesses like animal husbandry and dairy to increase their income. According to him, a strong dairy sector can play a vital role in the economic stability of farmers. The NDDB-managed Mahanand Dairy aims to further strengthen the supply of quality milk in Mumbai and other regions by connecting farmers to the market. Several dignitaries, including NDDB Executive Director Dr. V. Sridhar, Dairy Development Commissioner Prashant Mohod, and Mahanand Managing Director Anil Hatekar, were present at the event.
