Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer is now starting a new innings for the future of young talents even outside the field. He has made a strategic investment in Singapore-headquartered AI-native talent mobility company Manifest Global. The company works to connect around 5 lakh students with education and career opportunities every year in more than 150 countries. Shreyas Iyer believes that there is no dearth of talent and ambition in India, but providing the right guidance to the youth at the right time is a big challenge. He said, “India has the world’s largest youth population and there is no dearth of talent. What is needed is the right direction and guidance at the right time.”
Recalling his experience, Iyer said, “Someone believed in me when I hadn’t even achieved anything. Every child needs someone like that, but most don’t get that.”
