Tribal youth of Gadchiroli set a new example

New stories of hope are emerging from Gadchiroli, a remote district in Maharashtra that has long struggled with development challenges. A grassroots initiative by the MIAM Charitable Trust has taken concrete steps toward opening government jobs for tribal youth here.

Three young people from the Aheri subdivision—Deepali Bhaurao Chunarkar, Vandana Bhimrao Atram, and Tirupati Madavi—have proven that talent can surpass any boundaries when given the right guidance and opportunity by securing selection in government services after free coaching and training. This training center, run in collaboration with Surajgarh Ispat Private Limited, provides physical training along with preparation for competitive exams.

The success of these youth, who come from families dependent on agriculture and daily wage labour, is not just a personal achievement but is becoming an inspiration for the entire community.

Experts believe that such initiatives not only increase employment opportunities but also instill new thinking and confidence in rural areas. In areas like Gadchiroli, where lack of resources has long been a hindrance, such efforts are laying a strong foundation for change.
