Pulse 2026: Maharashtra to become a global healthcare hub

Pulse 2026, held in Mumbai, marked a decisive step towards making Maharashtra a global healthcare and recovery hub. Inaugurating the two-day summit, Devendra Fadnavis clarified that the state’s goal is not just to provide healthcare services, but to make it a strong pillar of innovation, investment, and economic growth. He said, “Today we are not just inaugurating a conference, but setting the direction for the development of healthcare in the coming decade.” Fadnavis emphasized the state’s strategy to provide affordable and quality healthcare to every citizen within a radius of 5 to 8 kilometers.

The summit featured extensive discussions on topics such as digital health, artificial intelligence, clinical innovation, and medical education. Describing technology and inclusive development as the key to the future, Sunetra Pawar said, “PULSE 2026 is a platform that paves the way for delivering better healthcare to every citizen through innovation and collaboration.” Hasan Mushrif and Madhuri Misal emphasized the importance of promoting medical education, infrastructure, and medical tourism.

By bringing together policymakers, industry and academia, Pulse 2026 not only accelerated discussions but also laid a strong foundation for establishing Maharashtra as a leading state in healthcare transformation.
