The unveiling of two extremely rare symbols of Sanatan Dharma—the Trishul and the Vajra—at a special press conference in Mumbai has sparked a new discussion in the world of history, faith, and research. Indian research scholar and businessman Syed Shamir Hussain claimed that these ancient artifacts were discovered during mining in the Philippines and are related to Lord Shiva’s Trishul and Lord Indra’s Vajra. Describing these rare objects as thousands of years old, he also presented documents related to their historical significance to the media.
During a press conference held at the prestigious Mumbai Museum, Syed Shamir Hussain stated that these artifacts were discovered during mining operations in the Philippines in 2015. He explained that he had been involved in mining operations with local people in the Philippines since 2012. When some unusual metal structures were discovered during excavation, he was called to the scene. Upon arriving, he was astonished to see the objects. Based on subsequent study and research, he identified them as Lord Shiva’s trident and Lord Indra’s vajra.
At the press conference, he stated that among these artifacts, the trident is believed to be approximately 10,000 years old, and the vajra is believed to be approximately 3,000 years old. He claimed that these are extremely important symbols associated with the Sanatan tradition, potentially of immense historical and cultural significance. He also stated that these artifacts were brought to India in 2016, and that their study, documentation, and research began thereafter.
The press conference was attended by Dr. V. Jayaraj (Scientist and Art Historian), Mr. Dipesh Mehta (Lawyer and Solicitor (UK), Mr. Nitesh Manopara (Businessman) and Mamta Rajesh Utale.
(Entrepreneur) was also present.
Sharing his experience, Syed Shamir Hussain explained that a few days after the discovery, he was bitten by a snake, but miraculously survived. He described it as a wonderful experience and said that the discovery of these artifacts has brought many positive changes in his life. He also shared that he has written letters to several ministers and Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the discovery.
Auction Preparation and Charity Pledge
The press conference also announced that these rare items will be auctioned on June 10th. The starting price for the Trishul is set at ₹500 crore and for the Vajra at ₹250 crore. If the auction raises a significant amount, a substantial portion will be used for charity. The goal is to support orphanages and contribute to the education of underprivileged children.
These artifacts have been unveiled to the public after nearly a decade of research and study. This unique discovery has sparked curiosity among historians, researchers, and religious figures.
If there is a comprehensive study on their historicity and authenticity, this discovery can open new chapters related to ancient civilizations, cultural exchange and the global influence of Sanatan tradition.
