The KHG Foundation has taken a significant step toward making healthcare accessible and affordable in India. By selecting four cutting-edge health-tech startups for the year 2025-26, the Foundation has signaled that advanced medical technology will no longer be limited to large cities but will reach every village. This initiative aims to make affordable, non-surgical, and life-saving healthcare accessible to the general public.
Highlighting the initiative, Padma Vibhushan Dr. R. A. Mashelkar said, “Transformative science should be ‘Bahujan Hitaya’—real innovation is about bringing better services to more people at a lower cost.” The selected startups include a non-invasive device from Agatsya Software, a low-cost glaucoma diagnostic technology from Remedio Innovative Solutions, a rapid sepsis detection solution from Fast Sense Innovations, and a digital stethoscope from Aayu Devices.
According to Professor Anil Gupta, these innovations prove that costs can be reduced without compromising quality. The KHG Foundation will provide these startups with technical guidance, capital, and networking support.
This initiative signals a new height in the accessibility of healthcare services in the country while strengthening the vision of ‘Digital India’ and ‘Healthy India’.
